Which Countries Require CE Certification?, European Union Countries that require CE Marking, Countries requiring CE marking, What is CE MARK? Is it required for selling to European countries? How many countries are currently requiring products to bear CE Marking Certification?
The CE Certification is currently required in the following countries; The EU comprises 31 countries that need CE Mark Certification. Three additional countries Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland, although not officially part of the EU, are signatories to the EEA. Switzerland is not a European Union member nor a signatory to the European Economic Area, but they have transposed the Equipment /products/ Devices Directives into their national law and these countries require CE Mark Certification.

Switzerland is not a member of the EU, but for some Equipment /products/ Devices, it accepts the CE Certification as a presumption of conformity with Swiss national technical regulations.
Please Note: Turkey is neither member of the European Union, nor is considered a part of the European Economic Area. However, Turkey has fully implemented many of the European CE Certification directives. This means that for many Equipment /products/ Devices they also require CE Certification.
